The first thing I saw this morning was the world covered in snow.
(Well, I checked my phone to turn off alarms and see notifications, but it doesn't count >o<) It was lovely and beautiful. Imagine the first thing you see in the morning is trees and streets covered in snow. Also, it was not even December yet. It was November so this was a big surprise. This was a truly lovely Saturday morning so I decided to draw something to remember this moment. (That's how I normally get inspired to make my illustrations and animations. If I see something I like and want to remember it, I try to document the moment in terms of drawing or animation.) I drew this on Procreate by using my iPad Pro 10.5" and apple pencil. First off, who am I? This is what I wrote down for my blog profile. But, I am more than just a fresh graduate who loves creating artworks. There are many ways to illustrate me, but, I believe, the artworks I create best show who I am to you. So I would not talk much about myself here. A week ago, I saw a film called Julie & Julia. It features lovely Amy Adams and Meryl Streep. It is a film based on a real life story of Julie, a NewYorker, who tried 524 recipes from Julia Child's mastery cookbook. She shared her experience of following the recipes in the book with servantless Americans on her blog. (She still has a blog!) Inspired by the film, I decided to make a blog too. I am not going to review recipes on my blog like Julie did, but I would like to illustrate my days, feelings and thoughts in creative forms. I hope the project can bring good changes to me, and, further, if it could bring pleasure to anyone who reads this I would be absolutely delighted. |
